Quality Assurance

After health and safety, our next highest priority is that you’re happy with the work we undertake. We worked with consultancy firm Zenith Learning to develop management systems that help us to guarantee the quality of service we provide to customers. We also comply with ISO 9001, which relates to quality management.

All our quality assurance systems are reviewed quarterly and audited annually by external organisations. We’re constantly monitoring and improving the processes we follow to ensure you get the best service.

When you’ll see our quality assurance processes at work

A lot of the work we do to ensure we exceed customer expectations is done behind-the-scenes. This includes things like our training programmes, the quality manuals followed by all staff and the audit work we undertake to meet various accreditations. But there are a couple of key points at which you’ll see our quality assurance work in action:

Method statement and programme of works

Before we start work, you’ll see a method statement outlining the work we intend to complete, how we’ll go about doing it and when we complete certain tasks.

This ensures that we’ve allocated enough time and resources to complete the job effectively.

You will be shown this statement to make sure that you’re in agreement with the standard of work we’re proposing to carry out and the timetable for completing the work.

The same method statement will then be read and signed by the City Contract Cleaners operative who completes the job.

Customer satisfaction reporting

Once the work is complete, we undertake a full reporting process. You will be asked to sign-off on the work we’ve completed to confirm that we’ve completed the work agreed to a suitably high standard.

In the unlikely event that you felt that was not the case, our quality assurance management system details the processes we will follow to put that right.
